I believe e-books are definitely going to become a popular format and a competitive rival to traditional print books, but don't think books in print are at risk of disappearing…at least not in the foreseeable future.
Many people still want the comfort of holding an actual book in their hands, but the consumers of today and tomorrow are the ones growing up in the digital age; used to cell phones, wireless internet, and social media.
These are the readers who see the appeal of e-books, and when those of us who belonging to the old-school way of reading no longer are in the majority, then I see the age of the Kindle, Nook, and e-reader becoming the dominant format.
I sooo LOVE this!! Connecting with true and serious book lovres is so gratifying and awesome!! I see your twitter name and was going to follow you, but my primary twitter account is ALL Adam Lambert. Not sure if you’re a fan or not, but people who aren’t (so sad because he’s AMAZING!) are probably best not to be part of that following because it does get crazy and insane in a good way with fans, lol. I have to try to access my other twitter account and use it for books only when I head back over there.Wonderful Holiday wishes to you!!~*Melissa*~
